MTN, Gameloft introduce mobile gaming subscription service in SAfrica
MTN South Africa in partnership with Gameloft has launched a mobile gaming subscription platform. The platform is available for a fixed daily subscription fee, with a large catalogue of premium mobile games such as Asphalt Nitro, NOVA Legacy, PAC-MAN and Sonic Runners Adventure. 

MTN Arcade allows users to immerse themselves in a complete mobile gaming universe with hundreds of games of all genres with exclusive features such as tournaments and esports events, the mobile operator said. The MTN Arcade mobisite is available for iOS and Android, and the application is available for Android devices. The service costs ZAR 3 per day.

MTN Group targets 16 mln users of Ayoba messaging app by end-2020

MTN Group says it aims to have 16 million users of its Ayoba messaging application before the end of 2020, reports BusinessTech. Group president Rob Shuter said that through the app, MTN wants to create "a super-app for Africa". He said that the next step for the app would be the introduction of money transfers, with users able to make and receive payments via Mobile Money.
