
Russian operator MTS considering a bid to acquire the Russian VoIP operator MTT, reports Vedomosti citing three independent sources. MTS completed due diligence on MTT at the end of 2020, according to the report. MTS declined to comment, saying only that it considers various options to expand its products for business customers.
Four managers of MTT, including its CEO Evgeny Vasiliev, own shares of MTT. Revenues of the company totaled RUB 7.5 billion in 2019, and its net debt was RUB 3.3 billion. Revenue from traffic transit totaled RUB 3.6 billion.
