Multikabel ordered to stop ADSL advertisements
The Dutch court of Alkmaar has judged that cable company Multikabel has to stop its advertising campaign to promote ADSL internet via the cable. The company also has to place a rectification on its internet site for two months. KPN and Eweka accused Multikabel of misleading its customers. The court said ADSL means broadband internet via telephony lines, and Multikabel has unlawfully joined in with success formulas of other companies. Multikabel accepts the court ruling.
