NetCologne rolls out 400 Mbps connections for households

German network operator NetCologne has confirmed plans to double maximum broadband speeds for households from 01 April to 400 Mbps. This comes one year after it launched 200 Mbps connections for private customers. The new 400 Mbps connections will be available across the whole NetCologne cable network and will support upload speeds of up too 40 Mbps.

New customers can save over EUR 200 and will get the first three months free with a 24-month contract. The remaining 21 months will be charged at the standard rate of EUR 69.90 per month.
