Netflix releases new cheap mobile-only subscription plan in India

Thursday 25 July 2019 | 09:14 CET | News
Netflix released a new mobile-only subscription monthly plan priced at INR 199 (USD 2.8), its cheapest subscription so far in India, writes HindustanTimes.com. The move is meant to help it better compete with rivals like Amazon, Disney and a dozen of other competitors that provide services at very low tariffs. India is the first and only market to get the mobile-only Netflix plan. Announced at its 'Netflix House' event in New Delhi, the plan provides the same features as other Netflix subscription plans.
