Nokia launches 2 new smartphones with Symbian upgrade

Nokia anounced the new Nokia E6 and Nokia X7 smartphones, aimed at business people and entertainment enthusiasts respectively. The phones contain updated Symbian software, with new icons and usability enhancements such as improved text input, a faster browser and refreshed Ovi Maps. The update also adds business features such as hardware accelerated encryption and and new e-mail features. The upgrade, nicknamed Symbian Anna, will be available in the coming months for the Nokia N8, E7, C7 and C6-01 phones as well.
