Nokia sees slow initial sales of N-Gage

Nokia has seen slow sales of its new N-Gage game device in the first week following the launch of the device in the UK. According to Chart-Track figures, which track sales at 6,000 games retailers, fewer than 500 units were sold in the first week. These figures do not count sales from mobile phone stores, which are expected to be a major outlet for the N-Gage. The rival Nintendo Game Boy Advance device outsold the N-Gage by 30:1 in the stores monitored by Chart-Track.
