Nomadix, a leading supplier of Public-access solutions, and Swisscom Eurospot (formerly Megabeam), a leading high-speed wireless Internet access provider, today announced several key business locations such as airports, major rail stations, hotels and conference centers have been enabled for Public-access Wi-Fi connectivity.

This collaboration has allowed Swisscom Eurospot to deploy the Nomadix's family of Public-access Gateways in a variety of locations including the Bristol Airport in the United Kingdom, Crown Plaza Hotel in Marlow (U.K.), and the Holiday Inn in Frankfurt, Germany. Partnering with Nomadix has given Swisscom Eurospot increased flexibility when deploying HotSpots in a variety of locations.
In addition to enabling a secure, easy to use service for mobile Wi-Fi computer users, Nomadix's solutions provide Swisscom Eurospot's customers with roaming capabilities. Swisscom Eurospot's customers will have the capability to access other networks while retaining one billing relationship.
The Nomadix Public-access Gateways are designed to provide seamless and secure mobile user connectivity for the end-user and have a variety of features and functionalities that allowed Swisscom Eurospot to easily deploy the products into their current infrastructure.
