Ofcom report shows 1.4 mln premises lack 10 Mbps broadband

Around 1.4 million homes and offices in the UK are still unable to get a decent broadband connections, according to a report from Ofcom. The number of UK properties unable to receive at least 10 Mbps fell by 1 million over the past year, but 5 percent of properties still cannot get the basic speed. This is speed proposed by the government in a new universal broadband service obligation, for which Ofcom has just provided its technical advice.
