Oi CFO, board member resign
Brazilian operator Oi announced that Flavio Nicolay Guimaraes presented his resignation as chief financial officer and investor relations officer. The Board of Directors elected Ricardo Malavazi Martins, who resigned from his position as member of the board of directors, to the position of CFO and IRO to replace Guimaraes. Oi also announced that Marcos Grodetzky presented his resignation as member of the board of directors.

Brazilian operator Oi said that the board of directors, in a meeting authorised by the seventh Corporate Court of the Judicial District of the State Capital of Rio de Janeiro, has made several nominations for members to take up vacant positions on the board, and for alternate members.

Oi presents debt restructuring plan to court

The board of directors of Brazilian operator Oi approved the terms and conditions of the company's Judicial Reorganization Plan and presented it to the court in Rio de Janeiro managing the company's restructuring process. The plan establishes the terms and conditions for overcoming the company's debt crisis and ensuring the ongoing continuity of the business, including measures for the restructuring of liabilities, obtaining new financial resources and the possible sale of fixed assets.

Oi names two new board members

The Board of Directors of Brazilian operator Oi has nominated Marcos Duarte Santos and Ricardo Reisen de Pinho to fill the vacancies on board until the 2018 annual shareholders meeting. Both are considered to be independent members under the terms of Novo Mercado Listing Regulation. Duarte has vast experience in the financial and capital markets, while Reisen has 30 years of experience in financial services and corporate governance, Oi said.

Oi on track with recovery plan - CEO

The negotiations of Brazilian operator Oi with its financial creditors include the entry of new shareholders in the company's capital, said CEO Marco Schroeder. In an interview with Valor Economico, the executive said that this solution is necessary given the limited number of options to reach an agreement with bondholders of Oi, which hold BRL 36 billion of the company's debt securities. Brazilian telecom operator Oi said that Marten Pieters has presented his resignation as member of the Board of Directors. Pedro Zanartu Gubert Morais Leitao, previously an alternate to Marten Pieters, will assume the role as an effective member of the Board of Directors.

Brazilian telecommunications operator Oi has announced that Robin Bienenstock presented her resignation as a member of the board of directors. She will be replaced by Marcos Grodetzky, previously an alternate to Bienenstock. The resignation comes only days after Bayard De Paoli Gontijo delivered his resignation as CEO of Oi.
