Belgian mobile broadband modem maker Option has extended its software licence agreement with Huawei and received a payment of EUR 11 million. The extension is part of the cooperation agreement signed with Huawei in October, with Huawei agreeing to license Option's uCAN Connection Management software. The first year of the licence was valued at EUR 27 million. The agreement also included the potential for extensions of the licence for an amount of up to EUR 33 million over the next 18 months. The latest agreement is the first of the potential extensions.
