Orange Switzerland launches online PC game download service
Orange Switzerland has a PC games download service called Orange PC Games. The offer, available on www.orange.ch/pcgames, includes more than 250 games. Orange PC Games offers three game packages: Play Pack consists of recreational, educational and entertainment games for CHF 15 per month; Action Pack consists of graphically and technically more advanced games; installation also requires some special configurations on the PC for CHF 15 per month and the Ultimate Pack consists of all games available from the entire games catalogue on the Orange PC Games platform and costs CHF 29 per month. All packages offer unlimited access to the games included in the package and all downloadable games consist of the full version in German and French.

Orange Switzerland unveils Orange Cinema mobile app

Orange Switzerland has launched he summer 2010 Orange Cinema programme, with open-air cinema events planned in Berne, Geneva, Zurich and Bale. The screenings will take place between 06 July and 29 August, with Orange the lead partner in the programme. It has also introduced the Orange Cinema mobile app for free access to all the whole of Orange Cinema directly on their mobile phones. The app is available on the Nokia Ovi Store, on the App Store of iTunes and soon on the download platform of Sony Ericsson.

Orange Switzerland mobile customer base returns to growth

Orange Switzerland reports revenues of EUR 227 million for the second quarter of this year, growing by 6.5 percent year-on-year, according France Telecom's KPIs for the second quarter. At the same time, the service revenues improved from EUR 184 million in Q2 2009 to EUR 200 million in the first quarter. The mobile customer base dropped by 14,000 year-on-year to 1.56 million on 30 June, with 2,000 net additions during the second quarter unable to off-set customer losses during the three preceding quarters.

Orange Switzerland launches new Orange Link service

Orange Switzerland has launched the new Orange Link service, which allows customers to receive selected web content for free via text message. The service connects Web 2.0 and SMS technology. Popular online networks and services such as Facebook, Twitter and Gmail are already available via SMS through Orange Link. The new service is part of Orange's World of Entertainment strategy and will be continuously expanded. The service can be accessed free of charge direct through the Orange Website or via orange.te
