Orange Uganda launches HD Voice

Mobile operator Orange Uganda has launched HD voice service. The company is using its 3G network to deliver the service, along with two new handsets: the ZTE F160 and the LG Saffron. HD calls limit the interference of background sounds with noise reduction technology and eliminate the cracks and hisses of mobile calls. In order to use the service, both caller and recipient need HD-enabled handsets and 3G coverage.
