Pre-paid MVNO Ortel Mobile, a subsidiary of KPN, has announced the launch of services in Switzerland. Ortel Mobile targets multi-cultural communities who make frequent overseas calls and already operates in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France and Spain. Ortel Mobile Switzerland is offering a prepaid SIM card for free including CHF 1 call credit. It will also offer SIM cards with CHF 10 or CHF 25 call credit. International calls will cost from CHF 0.04 per minute, with national calls to fixed and mobile lines costing CHF 0.19 per minute and texts within Switzerland and overseas costing CHF 0.12 each. Texts from Ortel to Ortel customers cost CHF 0.06 each, with internet from a mobile costing CHF 0.10 per MB. Customers can call at CHF 0 per minute to all users of Ortel Mobile in Switzerland, Spain, France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany.
