Over 8,000 KT employees apply for voluntary retirement
South Korean communications carrier KT has seen over 8,000 employees apply for voluntary retirement, Yonhap reported. The company launched a voluntary retirement scheme earlier this month to reduce the headcount and cut costs. Some 8,320 employees applied for the programme, well over the anticipated number of 6,000.
