
PalmPad to debut at CES - report

HP will launch a new tablet computer, the PalmPad, at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas in early January, Fox News reports. HP will show three models of the devie at CES, each with slightly different hardware, and produce a fourth model customised for university students. The tablet runs the Palm webOS, version 2.5.1. According to the documents seen by Fox, the PalmPad comes with front- and rear-facing cameras, mini HDMI and USB 3.0 ports, and screens of 8.9 to 9.7 inches. The tablet is expected to be on the market by March 2011.
