Pandora names Sling TV's Lynch as CEO
Digital music service Pandora appointed Roger Lynch as CEO and president, effective 18 September. Naveen Chopra, who has served as Pandora's interim CEO since June, will continue in his role as CFO. In addition, Pandora announced it appointed Michael Lynton to its board of directors. 

As the founding CEO of Dish Network's Sling TV, Lynch led the creation, launch and growth of the streaming TV service. Prior to Sling TV, Lynch served as executive vice president, Advanced Technologies, for Dish and EchoStar.

Lynch's appointment follows Tim Westergren leaving the company as CEO at the end of June. The management changes are part of a number of steps taken by Pandora to refocus the company after securing new investments in its operations.

Dish Network announced that COO Erik Carlson will lead its over-the-top (OTT) service, Sling TV. The move follows the news that outgoing Sling TV CEO, Roger Lynch, will join Pandora as CEO. Management changes for Sling TV are effective 31 August.
