Pango Systems introduces Respect, a mobile e-business platform that enables privacy control, identity management and instant personalization for mobile online transactions. The Respect server is a virtual infrastructure located at Mobile Internet Providers (MIPs), including mobile telecom operators and Internet service providers, that gives subscribers a personalized, efficient e-business experience while safeguarding their privacy. It offers content providers greatly improved conversion rates. MIPs can share in the transactions that have taken place across their infrastructure by providing subscribers and content providers with added value Respect services. A pilot program already showed promising results. The conversion rates (transactions/visits) went up from 27% in week 1 to 57% during week 2. The lowest ever registered during the period of the pilot was 24%. This is a dramatic enhancement compared to the usual conversion rate industry standard of 3%. Also the repeat visits to Respect-ful sites were very good. During the pilot the percentage of second time visitors stood at 37% and the percentage of third time visitors stood at 12%. The results represent clear commercial value brought on by Respect with regard to dramatically enhancing subscribers' conversion rates and overall mobile e-business activity.
