Polish operators Polkomtel and Cyfrowy Polsat will upgrade their service bundle programme smartDom from 14 February. A combination of internet, TV and telephony service will be available from PLN 60 a month. Customers who take up all nine services within a package will save up to PLN 1,400 a year. The main changes include the cancellation of the minimum monthly spending requirement to qualify for the programme, the flexibility to add new services to the package at any time, a cut of PLN 10 in the monthly price paid for each additional service, and the addition of DVB-T with twelve encrypted TV channels, eleven radio channels and fixed telephony.
From 14 February, similar changes will apply to the programme smartFirma, aimed at business customers.
The programme smartDom has already 1.5 million users, up from 1.3 million at the end of 2016. The basic package with 86 television channels, 30 GB internet and a mobile subscription with unlimited calls, SMS and MMS to all networks and 2 GB of mobile internet will cost PLN 60 a month.
The programme smartDom includes nine products and services: satellite TV (now also terrestrial TV), mobile telephony (now also fixed telephony), internet LTE Plus Advanced, banking services, energy supply, gas, insurance (Ergo Hestia), electric appliances and monitoring of premises.
