Priority Telecom's revenues up 12.6% in H1 2005
Priority Telecom generated EUR 52.7 million revenues in the first half of 2005, an increase of 12.6 percent compared to the first half revenues of 2004, amounting EUR 46.8 million. Revenues in The Netherlands increased with 12.3 percent from EUR 33.3 million in first half of 2004 to EUR 37.4 million in the same period this year. Also in Norway Priority Telecom showed increased revenues, EUR 9.6 million in first half 2005 compared to EUR 7.6 in first half of 2004, a growth of 26.3 percent. Revenues in Austria went down with EUR 0.1 million, from EUR 5.9 million in the first six months of 2004 to EUR 5.8 million in the first half of this year. The revenue growth is completely driven by voice solutions, in all other segments revenues went down. Voice revenue increased 54 percent in the first half year compared to first half of 2004, from EUR 19.6 million to EUR 30.2 million. Comparing this year’s first half results of to first half results of 2004, IP revenue went down from EUR 5.0 million to EUR 4.9, data revenue went down by 21.8 percent from EUR 20.2 million to EUR 15.8 and hosting revenues declined with 10 percent from EUR 2.0 million to EUR 1.8 million. Net result improved, in first six months of 2004 Priority made a loss of EUR 35.0 million while net loss in first half of 2005 was EUR 6.2 million.
