ProSiebenSat.1 revenues, adjusted EBITDA decline in Q2

German broadcaster ProSiebenSat.1 said its revenues declined by 25 percent year-on-year in the second quarter to EUR 709 million. Adjusted for portfolio and currency effects, revenues decreased by 26 percent on the back of losses in at its advertising and content production businesses due to the covid-19 pandemic. Adjusted EBITDA fell by 89 percent to EUR 23 million, due to the decline in the high-margin advertising business. The adjusted net loss reached EUR 52 million. The company expects a decline in advertising revenues slightly less than 20 percent in July compared to the previous year,
