Quebecor accuses CBC/SRC of preferential treatment with subscription VoD service

Quebecor has accused public broadcaster CBC/Societe Radio-Canada is violating regulations by operating a paying VoD service. Quebecor filed an application with Canadian regulator Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) saying CBC's Ici Tou.TV Extra subscription VoD service is an "alarming departure" from its mission as a public broadcaster.
