Quippo bids INR 30 bln for Banglalink's towers - report
Indian telecommunications infrastructure group Quippo has reportedly made a bid of INR 30 billion for the tower business of Banglalink. The Bangladeshi mobile operator owns around 5,200 telecom towers. The deal would be structured such that Viom Networks, which is managed by the same parent company as Quippo, Srei Group, would receive a tower management contract after the acquisition, the Economic Times writes citing two unnamed sources familiar with the deal. The assets may later be brought to Viom.
