
Regulator delays decision on TelstraClear takeover

New Zealand's Commerce Commission has delayed a decision on Vodafone's takeover of TelstraClear. The regulator now plans to issue a ruling on 23 October, the BusinessDay writes. In July, Vodafone announced it planned to buy TelstraClear from Australian carrier Telstra for NZD 840 million. The Commerce Commission was originally scheduled to issue a decision on the approval for the acquisition on 7 September.
