
Reliance to split GSM, CDMA operations - report

Indian telecommunications provider Reliance Communications is restructuring again. The company is separating its growing GSM business from the sluggish CDMA business, the Economic Times writes citing unnamed sources familiar with the situation. Nilanjan Mukherjee, currently the chief marketing officer, will lead the CDMA business while Ramesh Menon will join the company to head the GSM business. Reliance Communications may look to sell the CDMA operation.
