
Research In Motion launches BlackBerry Curve 3G

Research In Motion unveiled a 3G version of its Curve handset, which will start shipping this month worldwide. RIM said the new phone offers an "attractive and accessible choice" for first-time smartphone buyers. The phone features a full qwerty keypad, optical trackpad for navigation, GPS, Wi-Fi and HSPA, as well as dedicated media keys, up to 32GB microSD storage and a camera with video recording. The BlackBerry Curve 3G will ship with BlackBerry 5 and will be available for an upgrade to BlackBerry 6 depending on the carrier.
