Riverbed lowers revenue guidance for Q2
Application performance infrastructure provider Riverbed Technology has lowered its guidance for the second quarter, pulled down by weaker-than-expected sales, especially in North America, with longer sales cycles on some larger and more complex deals.

Riverbed now expects non-GAAP revenues at USD 264-265 million, from its previous forecast of USD 274-280 million. Non-GAAP diluted earnings per share are seen at USD 0.26-0.28.

CEO Jerry Kennelly said the company is confident in its ability to grow and deliver targeted earnings performance. The provider will continue to manage expenses and focus on achieving operating leverage.
