Rohde & Schwarz wins contract to supply VCS-4G system to Finnish air traffic control

Rohde & Schwarz said it has won a contract from Air Navigation Services Finland (ANS Finland) to upgrade the Finnish air traffic control (ATC) communications infrastructure with its IP-based R&S VCS-4G system. The contract concerns the voice communications for the Helsinki Area Traffic Control Centre (ATCC) ANS Finland provides en-route, aerodrome control and approach control services for 22 airports in Finland.
