The Romanian Ministry of Communication and Information Technology (MCTI) will launch a tender for the implementation of a power line communications system. With the power line communications system the Ministry will connect rural or remote areas to the internet and to bridge the digital divide. The first village to be connected is Marasesti from the Band commune in Mures county, reports the Bucharest Business Weekly Online.
