Romania's telecommunications authority Ancom opened a public consultation on the conditions for the auction of licences for the 700 MHz, 800 MHz, 1,500 MHz, 2,600 MHz and 3,400-3,800 MHz frequency bands. Ancom's consultation concerns the auction's tender book, licence fees, the draft decision setting the spectrum's usage tariff and the draft decision for organising the competitive selection procedure for the licences.
The starting price of all the licences will amount to EUR 580 million. The minimum price ranges from EUR 1 million for certain unpaired 5 MHz blocks valid six years to EUR 45 million for 2x5 MHz over 15 years.
Comments and proposals can be submitted to Ancom until 2 September.
