Rosenworcel proposed for new term on FCC
US President Donald Trump has nominated Jessica Rosenworcel to return to the Federal Communications Commission. Rosenworcel was nominated in 2011 by the former President Barack Obama, at the same time as the current FCC chairman Ajit Pai. She served until January as a commissioner.

Prior to that she worked in the Senate since 2007 and before that she was a legal adviser at the FCC. If confirmed by the Senate, her appointment is expected to change the balance in the FCC, with two commissioners tending to vote Republican and two leaning towards the Democrats.
