Rostelecom expands IPTV coverage in Altay

Russian national operator Rostelecom has expanded the reach of its IPTV services in the Republic of Altay. Five villages in the Onguday and Mayma boroughs can now receive the services, which are currently available in 35 settlements in the Republic. Rostelecom's IPTV subscriber base approaches 5,000 in the region.

Rostelecom has upgraded its multi-service network and raised the capacity of its lines there. It provides broadband at up to 8 Mbps and IPTV in the villages of Inia, Kupchegen, Khabarovka, Tenga and Ust-Muny.
