Rostelecom expands network in Sakhalin

Russian national operator Rostelecomhas started deploying a fibre network in the settlement of Vzmorye in the Dolinsk municipality, in the Sakhalin region. The operator is using MetroEthernet technology there. Broadband at up to 55 Mbps, more than 220 IPTV-channels and digital telephony services from the national operator will now become available in the area.
