Rudna municipality to deploy public Wi-Fi network
The Rudna municipality, based in the Lower Silesia region, plans to deploy a public Wi-Fi network under Operational Programme Digital Poland (POPC). A total of 43 hotspots will be launched. The municipality received PLN 64,000 in support for the programme. The total investment in the project amounts to PLN 107,500.

The Gorlice municipality, based in the Lesser Poland region, has deployed a public Wi-Fi network in the town of Gorlice, reports Telko.in. The municipality used EUR 15,000 under the Wi-Fi4EU programme for the rollout. A dozen hotspots, giving access to broadband of up to 30 Mbps, have been built by a contractor, the company BudujemyWi-Fi.

The Lodz regional administration has put a contract out to tender for the operation of the regional network LRST. The contractor will also provide related support services. The new contract will run for 36 months and the deadline for tendering applications is 24 November.
