Russian regulator to allocate bands for 5G testing

Russian federal radio frequencies commission SRFC has prepared a draft decision on the allocation of bands for operators wishing to test 5G systems, reports Comnews.ru. The regulator plans to allocate frequencies in the 25.25-29.5 GHz band to mobile operator Beeline for the testing of 5G networks in Moscow and St Petersburg, as well as in the Voronezh, St Petersburg, Moscow, Krasnodar, Stavropol and Samara regions and in the Republic of Tatarstan.
