SABC to receive ZAR 2.1 billion bailout on 07 October

The South Africa Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) is to receive ZAR 2.1 billion on 07 October as part of a ZAR 3.2 billion bailout from the government. The remaining ZAR1.1 billion will be transferred to the SABC once the public broadcaster fully meets the three outstanding conditions, or firmly demonstrates evidence that it will fully comply, the department of communications said.
