
Epic Games announced that its popular game Fortnite will launch on Android first for Samsung Galaxy users. The launch coincides with the release of Samsung's new Galaxy Note 9 smartphone and Galaxy Tab S4 tablet, which come with an exclusive Fortnite skin. Those who pre-order the new Samsung devices also can choose from 15,000 V-bucks as in-game credit on Fortnite or a free pair of AKG headphones.
The Fortnite Android beta will be available initially on the Samsung S7 / S7 Edge, S8 / S8+, S9 / S9+, Note 8, Note 9, Tab S3 and Tab S4. It can be downloaded from the Samsung Game Launcher app.
Epic Games said the game will start rolling out to other phones "in the next few days". Other devices the Android Beta will be playable on include the Google Pixel phones; the Asus ROG Phone, Zenfone 4 Pro, 5Z, V; the Essential phone; the Honor 10 and Honor Play; the Huawei Mate 10 / Pro, Mate RS, Nova 3, P20 / Pro and V10; the LG G5, G6, G7 ThinQ, V20, V30 / V30; the Nokia 8; the OnePlus: 5 / 5T and 6; the Razer Phone; the Xiaomi Blackshark, Mi 5 / 5S / 5S Plus, 6 / 6 Plus, Mi 8 / 8 Explorer / 8SE, Mi Mix, Mi Mix 2, Mi Mix 2S, Mi Note 2; and the ZTE Axon 7 / 7s, Axon M, Nubia / Z17 / Z17s and Nubia Z11.
