
Samsung Electronics unveiled its third budget smartphone running the Tizen OS, dubbed the Z2, in India, The Economic Times reports. The Z2 includes a 4-inch Amoled display, 5-megapixel camera, 2 GB RAM, 8 GB expandable memory, LTE and 1.5-GHz quad core processor. The device, available in black, gold and wine red colours, comes with a 5MP primary camera with LED flash and a VGA front shooter with beauty face and wide selfie features.
Priced at INR 4,590 the phone will be available at retail stores and online partner Paytm from 29 August. Samsung said it aims to make an affordable LTE device available to the market with the Z2. It has partnered with mobile operator Reliance Jio to promote the phone and offer associated services. Reliance Jio customers can get access to premium services like My Jio, Jio on Demand for movies and TV shows and Jio Beats for HD songs in 20 languages.
