French operator SFR has formed a business telecoms alliance called Network Team with Verizon, Vodafone, Etisalat, Maroc Telecom and Tata Communications aimed at allowing French enterprises and multinationals based in France to benefit from global telecom solutions anywhere in the world. Enterprise subsidiary SFR Business Team and its partners will initially offer customers virtual private network services with guaranteed interoperability between client sites on each network, prioritised flows between client sites, QoS guarantees on data communications and a monitoring interface. Network Team promises to offer simplicity, economy and optimal performance. Other agreements with major operators will be announced in the upcoming months, according to SFR. AFP writes that Network Team will offer virtual private networks, fixed telephony, internet and mobile telephony at first, to be followed by cloud services.
