
Showtime launches subscription streaming service

Showtime has launched its online video streaming subscription service. The maker of popular shows such as Homeland, Episodes, Penny Dreadful and Masters of Sex, will offer unlimited, on-demand access to its programming as well as live TV feeds for USD 10.99 per month. The service works on Apple devices, as well as Roku and the Playstation Vue. Hulu subscribers will be able to get it for the reduced price of USD 8.99 per month, on top of their Hulu subscription. Hulu also offers support for additional devices, such as Android phones and tablets, the Xbox One, Nintendo Wii, Amazon Fire TV, Chromecast , and the latest LG, Samsung and Vizio televisions and LG, Samsung and Sony Blu-ray players.
