Siemens has reported income from continuing operations of EUR 625 million for its FY Q3, down from EUR 871 million a year earlier, with net income (including discontinued operations) of EUR 389 million, down from EUR 815 million. Mobile phone activities, reported as discontinued operations following a sale agreement, are excluded from reported results for continuing operations in both the current and prior-year periods, including Group profit, sales, orders and cash flows. Group profit from operations on a continuing basis was EUR 980 million, down from EUR 1.33 billion, on sales up 7 percent year-on-year to EUR 18.75 billion. The Com business division posted 3rd-qtr sales on a continuing basis of EUR 3.335 billion and orders of EUR 3.456 billion. It posted a loss of EUR 70 million, vs profit of EUR 209 million a year earlier.
