Si.mobil rolls out LTE Advanced

Slovenia's second largest mobile provider, Si.mobil, has launched LTE Advanced (LTE-A) technology at six locations across the country to increase the network's capacity and enable transfer data speeds of up to 300 Mbps. Si.mobil users can use LTE-A in Ljubljana (two locations), Maribor, Kranj, Celje and Slovenj Gradec. The technology is supported by the Samsung Galaxy Alpha smartphone, with more new devices to be added to the operator's portfolio soon.
