S.Mobile launches API for banks and fintech firms to distribute MTN data bundles
Nigerian company S.Mobile has launched an application programming interface (API) for distributing MTN data bundles, aiming at meeting the needs of banks and fintech companies. MTN Group expects sharp losses in H1 on Sudan woes, forex effects

MTN Group warns it expects to report a 140-150 percent decrease in headline earnings per share (HEPS) for its half-year results. The company said it expects headline results to shift to a loss of ZAR 2.17-2.71 from 2023's 5.42 per share. Earnings per share will drop by 175-185 percent to a loss of ZAR 3.83-4.34 from last year's profit of 5.11 per share.
