Sonus plans to expand in Europe
Sonus Networks, provider of IP voice infrastructure systems to service providers, has announced the next phase of its growth plans for Europe. The company plans to expand into new countries with additional sales resources, bolster its R&D facility in the United Kingdom and add to its services capabilities in its Prague office. The expansion to its European operations will focus primarily on increasing its direct sales presence beyond these countries as the market for IP-based communications expands in Spain, Eastern Europe, Russia and throughout the region. Sonus first established its presence in Europe in 2000 opening its first R&D centre outside of the US in the United Kingdom.
