
Sony buys OnLive assets

Sony is acquiring the main assets and patents of streaming games service OnLive. As a result, the OnLive service will end 30 April, the company announced on its website. No financial details of the takeover were disclosed. Started in 2010, OnLive was acquired by the investment group Lauder Partners in 2012. It claimed then to have 1.75 million users.
