Sony introduces Xperia Z3+ smartphone
Sony announced a new addition to its premium smartphone line, the Xperia Z3+. Available from June, the Z3+ is a slimmer and lighter of the flagship Z3 launched last autumn. It comes with a slightly smaller 5.2-inch Full HD screen and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor, with support for Cat 6 LTE at up to 300 Mbps and the Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 technology. 

The Z3+ features the same 20.7MP camera with Exmor RS for mobile image sensor, BIONZ for mobile processing engine and a 25mm wide-angle G lens. The new 5MP front camera also comes with a 25mm wide-angle lens as well as full HD video. In addition, the X3+ supports PlayStation remote play and comes with access to the Xperia Lounge Gold entertainment service. The Z3+ will be available in a choice of four colours (black, white, copper, aqua green) and in single- and dual-Sim versions. It will carry a recommended retail price of EUR 699.

Sony Mobile launches 'Concept for Android' initiative

Sony Mobile has announced the launch of a new initiative called "Concept for Android", giving owners of the Xperia Z3 smartphone in Sweden the opportunity to try out a concept operating system based on Android 5.1. Sony has announced that its Xperia Z3+ flagship device will start rolling out globally from this week. Micromax unveils 5.1 mm thick 4G smartphone, weighs 97 grams

Indian mobile phone manufacturer Micromax has introduced its 'Canvas Sliver 5' 4G smartphone. Micromax claims the device is the slimmest smartphone in the world at 5.1mm, and the lightest at 97 grams.
