Sosh, Orange’s low-cost brand, has refreshed its product portfolio by turning its back on quad-play bundles. New customers can now sign up to a newly launched range of fixed broadband packages without purchasing a Sosh mobile plan, based on Orange network availability (FTTH/VDSL/ADSL according to coverage). Called La Boite Sosh, the fixed broadband offering comes with no minimum contract term and includes a call allowance over a VoIP line, with the option to add a TV service.
For households not covered by the Orange fibre network, La Boite Sosh is priced EUR 19.99/month over a VDSL/ADSL line, rising to EUR 29.99/month for the 300 Mbps FTTH service. To promote the launch, Sosh is offering the service at the discounted price of EUR 9.99/month during the first year to all new sign-ups joining between 23 August and 07 September.
With the monthly subscription, including the rental of the Livebox 4 router, customers are offered unlimited VoIP calls to landlines in France and over 100 countries. On request, they can also have access to the Orange TV app. Alternatively a TV box is provided as a paid-for option, priced EUR 5/month.
Existing quad-play customers can migrate to La Boite Sosh by contacting the operator to receive separate mobile and fixed broadband bills. All those already subscribing to a FTTH service will be automatically upgraded to 300 Mbps speeds free of charge.
