
South Korea launches free Wi-Fi access at mini-rest stops

South Korea has started providing free wireless internet access on small highway rest stops across the country, in a bid to reduce people's phone bills, Yonhap news agency reports. The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and the Korea Expressway have announced that free Wi-Fi zones were set up at 248 rest areas and temporary rest stops.
