SpaceX valuation leaps to USD 21 bln after latest financing round - report
SpaceX has raised up to USD 350 million in new financing, nearly doubling its valuation to USD 21 billion, the New York Times reported, adding that the company is now one of the most valuable privately held firms in the world. The financing was disclosed in public filings obtained by Equidate, a marketplace for private company stock. SpaceX declined to comment. 

SpaceX was valued at around USD 11 billion in 2015 when it raised USD 1 billion from Fidelity and Google. Previous investors in SpaceX include venture capital firms Founders Fund and DFJ.

Micro satellite launch startup Vector successfully completed its first suborbital launch and flight of a full-scale test version of its Vector-R launch rocket, according to TechCrunch.com. The company was founded by a team of alumni from aerospace companies SpaceX, Virgin Galactic, Boeing, among others.
