
Spanish MVNO Cuatro Movil to launch on 14 October

Spanish broadcaster Sogecable, the owner of TV channel Cuatro, is launching an MVNO called Cuatro Movil on 14 October. Spanish press reports state that Dutch operator KPN, which owns the Simyo and Blau MVNO brands in Spain, will operate Cuatro Movil. The TV channel has posted the following pricing information about three plans on its website: the EUR 29.90 a month 'Fuera de Serie' tariff will give users 'unlimited' internet access and 500 minutes of calls, the EUR 19.90 'Express' tariff will offer internet access and 300 minutes of calls and the 'Revolution' pre-paid tariff will cost EUR 0.08 per minute for calls to any operator at any time of day, EUR 0.10 per SMS and EUR 0.03 per MB of data use. The phones on offer will include the Nokia X2, Acer Liquid E and Huawei U8110 for postpaid subscribers and the Nokia 2690 and Alcatel OT 255 for prepaid customers.
